What does it really mean to be sent by Jesus?

On this special GO Sunday, Global Outreach Partner Joe Gordon shares from John 20 and reminds us that God has always been a sending God. He sent Abraham. He sent Moses. He sent the prophets. He sent His Son. And now Jesus looks at ordinary, imperfect people like us and says:

“As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.”

We don't have to be the strongest, smartest, or most fearless people in the room. Like lambs staying close to their shepherd, our calling is to stay close to Jesus and faithfully participate in what He is doing.
