Pastor Kody was born and raised in Modesto, CA. At a young age he responded to a calling The Lord put on his life to worship with everything he had. He was given the opportunity to serve as a worship leader in his church’s children and youth ministries and eventually went on staff as an intern in Worship Arts. Since starting his journey in ministry he has been able to experience and lead in a broad variety of
worship styles and gatherings.
Before coming to Peoples Church he was most recently at a church in Turlock, CA where he spent 6 years on staff as the Associate Worship Director. During his time there he met his wife, Maddy, while serving on the worship team together. Together, they share a conviction to worship and pursue The Lord at all times. They got married in July of 2020 and had their first child, James, in August of 2022. In their free time, they all enjoy taking walks and collecting rocks for James to throw into pretty much any
body of water.
