Discipleship Pastor
Pastor Brian was born in Fresno and raised in nearby Reedley. He has his Doctor of Ministry degree with a specialization in discipleship and transformation. In his more than 35 years in ministry, in the US and New Zealand, Brian has served as a pastor, teaching pastor, church planter, Bible college professor, regional pastor coach, and national leader of youth ministries.
At the heart of his ministry is a passion to help people see God and participate in His redemptive story by helping them move from simply knowing about God to genuinely knowing and following Jesus.
He loves helping people take their next step of faith, equipping leaders, and creating communities where people can grow together and become disciples who make disciples.
He also loves teaching the Bible with humor and candor in a practical and accessible way, helping people discover God at work in the ordinary moments of everyday life.
Brian is continually in awe and thankful to God for his wife Rachel and their beautiful blended family of six daughters. In his spare time, Brian enjoys sharing fun and laughs with family and friends, Fresno sports, and, of course, really good Mexican food.
