Thanks for visiting our PC Women’s Page! My name is Joni Oquist and I have the extreme privilege and blessing of leading the women of our faith family. I grew up in a Pastor’s home (and then married a Pastor!) and cannot stress enough the value of being connected to a loving church community. It’s really where we learn to live the life God intended for us through the study of His Word, the development of our spiritual gifts, and the formation of lasting relationships.
Spiritual disciplines are essential to a more vibrant spiritual life and knowing God more intimately.
Join Kelly Minter in this 7-session Bible study as she unpacks the biblical foundation for these sacred habits along with approachable ways to practice disciplines like prayer, study, worship, rest, simplicity, generosity, celebration, and many more. Instead of being just one more thing on your to-do list, you’ll find that these habits of faith can actually create more margin in your life—providing peace and rest as you walk closer with Jesus.
Classes will meet in the Lobby on Wednesdays, starting January 12- February 23 at 9:30am and 7pm. Teaching lessons are approximately 30 minutes in length, and include five days of take-home study, which are discussed at the beginning of each class. A workbook is required for this study that is available for purchase on Lifeway and Amazon.
Refreshments and childcare are provided.
Registration will begin December 6.
Join biblical culturalist Kristi McLelland on the dusty roads of Galilee as she transports you back to Jesus' world, stepping into the footsteps of the women who came face to face with the living God. Over 7 sessions, examine the historical and cultural climate of first-century Middle Eastern society to not only understand Jesus more deeply but to fuel your worship of Him today.
Classes will meet in the North Lobby Chapel on Wednesday mornings only, starting January 12 – February 23 from 9:30a – 11:15a. Teachings are approximately one hour long, and will be followed by discussion and prayer around the table. There is a workbook required for this study that is available for purchase on Lifeway, and Amazon. Refreshments and childcare are provided.
Registration will begin December 6.
Phemom was created in 2012 to encourage the phenomenal moms of our faith community as they raise their kids. Small groups are formed and led by moms of older children. These “Model Moms” listen, share wisdom, and give love and prayer support to each mom in her group. Phemom is a treasured space on every Phemom’s calendar as a time to recharge and be reminded she is not alone.
After our Christmas party on November 30, Phemom will pause for the holidays and resume on Tuesday morning, January 18 at 9:15am. We will be meeting in our spacious lobby, right next to the PC Kids building. Feel free to arrive early, hand your kids to our loving child care staff, and make your way in. A beautiful breakfast buffet and fun friends will be there to greet you!

Latte and Lit has chosen the book Christmas Bride for our December selection. It is part of Melanie Dobson’s Legacy of Love historical romance novels. Each is based on courageous people and the significant events that wove together the rich tapestry of America’s freedom and faith. The Christmas Bride was originally titled Love Finds You in Nazareth, Pennsylvania and is inspired by Melanie's Moravian ancestors, Christian and Susanna.
The year was 1755 when the German Moravian community chose by lot Christian and Susanna to be married. They had never met before their wedding day. Christian and Susanna, along with a dozen other newly married couples, left Germany and traveled to Nazareth, Pennsylvania. The mission was to help establish a Moravian borough and share their faith with the surrounding native American nations.
You will find the book inspiring as you learn about some remarkable people who fully embraced their faith and servitude to the Lord Jesus Christ. Each month when Latte and Lit meet we have a great time of discussion and enjoy a connection with other women. Please join us for a very nice end of the year Christmas meeting in the Jackie Johnson Room at 6:30pm.
