We Believe . . . the Bible is the inspired, infallible and authoritative Word of God. We Believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. We Believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father and His personal future return to this earth in power and glory to rule over the nations. We Believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ.

We Believe that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation. We Believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer. We Believe in the Spirit-filled life by whose indwelling the Christian is given the power to live a victorious and effective life. We Believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation.

Mission Statement

Peoples Church is a family with a rich mixture of backgrounds and age groups who trust in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. All are welcomed here and given the opportunity to belong to this growing family. Our passion is:

1. To present the Holy Bible to every person at his/her level of understanding so that all may be brought to a personal faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord;
2. To express corporately and individually our love for God through worship, prayer, and the giving of time, talents, and resources;
3. To provide opportunities through our church family to foster and develop meaningful relationships;
4. To nurture and encourage every person to become more like Jesus Christ in every facet of life through knowledge, understanding and personal application of the Word of God;
5. To give each person opportunity to discover God's purpose for his, or her life, then equip and commission them for their unique ministry to the church and those they touch in everyday life.

Recognizing this mission is God's plan for His Church, we fully acknowledge our individual and corporate dependence on the empowering of the Holy Spirit to accomplish His divine purpose through us.

Every believer is an important part of God's plan for humanity. We are called by God to use our specific gifts, by the power of His Spirit in distinct areas of ministry. As a church we are committed to helping people discover their gifts, their place of ministry and equipping them to minister in the church and community.

We have been called by God to be a light of salvation and hope to the world. We desire to make a difference in our community by being aware of the needs and finding innovative ways to meet those needs. We especially want to equip people to be able to share the gospel message relevantly and effectively. We are passionate about sending people to take the message of Christ to the unchurched, so that all the world may know Jesus as Savior and Lord.
