Bible Studies for Men and Women

Come and fellowship with brothers and sisters of like faith in Christ Jesus, as you sing praises to His name, and then participate in separate groups of men and women for edifying Bible studies and mutual encouragement.

Calling and Caring

Twice each year members of the Calling and Caring Ministry contact each family in Peoples Church to pray for their needs to be met and to rejoice in the Lord’s blessings. The callers also confirm updated information. Special needs and requests are referred to the appropriate pastor for further follow-up.

Medical Ministries International

Medical Ministries International (MMI) is a nonprofit Christian organization that supports medical and dental missions in various locations throughout the world by sending medical and non-medical people to staff short-term clinics, obtaining used medical equipment for recycling to clinics and hospitals overseas, and coordinating construction teams to work on clinics and hospitals in various parts of the world.

We need medical and dental personnel, medical technicians, interpreters, and construction workers, as well as retired medical/dental people to sort, refurbish, and pack supplies in our Fresno warehouse and non-medical people to assist with various aspects of clinic operations.

PC Iglesia (Spanish Church)

Peoples Church Missions Committee

Missions Committee members are nominated by the existing Missions Committee and approved by the Senior Pastor before being asked to serve on the committee. Each member of the Missions Committee is a church member who feels called by God and who demonstrates a vital spiritual life, a deep interest and commitment to missions, a proven willingness to work to fulfill Peoples Church vision for missions, and a capacity to communicate group goals/objectives.

Prison Ministries

Minister and share your faith as we visit men in prison (with Champions For Life) and inmates at the Fresno Jail. (Women are also welcome to minister at the women’s facilities.)

Reassurance Call Telephone Ministry

Make daily calls to check on individuals who are unable to leave their homes. For some these conversations are the only calls they receive all day. This ministry is a branch of the Compassion/Prayer Line Ministry. (Time commitment: two hours per week.)

Shepherding Ministry

Call those in our church family who have missed church (or not registered their attendance in Sunday class or service) for several weeks to find out if the church can help. Reports are referred to the appropriate pastors.

Valley Missions

Serve Fresno County Jail inmates with chaplains, Bibles, worship services, materials, and a staff of volunteers. You can join this ministry by praying, donating, helping with financial support, grading Bible studies, or giving your time partnering with us in detention ministries.
